A Native's View To Mardis Gras

My HOME is dedicated to giving you some useful information about Mardi Gras in the New Orleans Area from a native's point of view. Here you will find info on Carnival, Parades, Parade Dates, Parade Route, How to pick your Viewing Spot, Safety Tips, DO's and DON'TS, all aimed at helping you to enjoy and survive Mardi Gras. Visit some great Webrings or My Favorite Links related to Mardi Gras, New Orleans and Louisiana.

After browsing through the web looking at sites that were listed as Mardi Gras, I noticed that most of these sites were either collections of memories of past Mardi Gras Parades or they presented the same information about the history of Mardi Gras and the related traditions.

I decided that what was needed is a place, where people can go, to find useful information on how to really enjoy Mardi Gras. I must say that I am biased, as I am a Native of New Orleans.
